From Omu peak you will have some nice panoramic views of all the mountains and valleys around. Also, the ascend from Cabana Malaiesti to Omu Peak via the Malaiesti Valley is beautiful as well.
From Tiganesti ridge (Culmea Tiganesti) you will get some of the best panoramic views over the glacial valleys in Bucegi Mountains, the entire eastern side of Piatra Craiului Massif and the whole Rucar-Bran Pass.

The most spectacular way to get to Omu Peak from Cabana Malaiesti is by ascending to the Bucsoiu Peak by taking the the trail called Brana Caprelor and from there continue the walk on the narrow and breathtaking ridge of Bucsoiu towards the summit of Bucegi.
Cabana Malaiesti is an isolated chalet located at 1720 meters in a beautiful cirque in the Bucegi Mountains of Romania. It is the starting point of many spectacular trails towards the highest peak in the Bucegi Mountains – Varful Omu (2505m).
